US dollar registers slight advance to start the session

The US dollar is registering a slight advance as we get the BOE’s comments, with EUR/USD tumbling to a session low of 1.2117.

The GBP/USD pair is trading around 1.38 as sellers seize back near term control in a push back under the 100-hour moving average @ 1.3796.

There has been a lot of push and pull in the greenback in the last few days so it is difficult to draw out much from the dollar’s slightly firmer tone today.

Hence, watch out for other dollar pairs, for example, USD/JPY as it moves toward the key 105.00 psychological mark.
