February 17, 2021
The dollar is holding firmer across the pond, with USD/JPY moving back above 106.00 in early European trading.
EUR/USD has tumbled to fresh lows seen 9 February, as sellers keep a break under its key hourly moving averages from Tuesday. Hence, the pair turns bearish in the near term as the downward momentum spreads a little more today.
For EUR/USD, on the broader picture, the key levels to watch are the 1.2000 level and the 100-day moving average @ 1.1990.
On the economic data front, the pair is expecting the key US Retail Sales data and the FOMC minutes.
