AUD/JPY climbs to 84.84, the fresh 36-month high

The AUD/JPY pair is currently pushing to fresh highs in three years. The Japanese yen is under pressure on the back of higher yields during the early European session.

On the broader picture, the pair is endeavoring to hold a push from March to June 2018 tops around 84.48-53 and that may make ready for buyers to struggle for October 2017 and January 2018 tops over 89.00.

The bounce across yen pairs is generally a reaction to more vulnerable yen sentiment because of higher yields. Also, GBP/JPY is seen trying to hold a break above 150.00.

In the meantime, NZD/JPY is challenging resistance from December 2018 high @ 78.87 as it touches 79.00.
